And a few negative things, to even it out. Here\'s what I don\'t like:

Being harrased when I go shopping.
Can\'t buy Colgate toothpaste.

Those people that gain responsibility and respect based on age instead of capability.

They have cheese here? What! The root many problems in Korea seems to be the age structure. It is horribly inefficient. Stupid people that happen to be old aren\'t questioned. Thus changes in mindset happen slow. Children now have no respect or discipline, because their parents suck. That may be the root of all evil here in twenty years.

can never get used to those drunken
that its easier to see exhibits by korean artists in China than it is in Seoul.
* The lack of logical thinking/people who can\'t think for themselves. * The lack of discipline of children/parents who overly spoil thier children. * Strangers trying to talk with me when all I want to do is have a quiet lunch. * Simple things purposely made difficult. * Winter :P

and can anyone explain why they have tomatoes on the cakes here in Korea? it is just strange.... also did anyone notice everything here is sweet ...pickles, butter, tomato juice, vegetable juice and most of the meat ...i guess one day i will become accustomed to it but ...it is just not right.
if you don\'t want sweet things, then eat the cream cake! hahahaha
some koreans are insensitive to foreigners even though they know that many foreigners cannot understand the korean language. They will keep on discussing as if you dont exist at all :(.
I know some people who have heard racist things that way... my own experience though - from the little korean I\'ve picked up, is that they usually discuss harmless things... like I attend a music school and will take my (large) instrument along on the subway... it catches a bit of staring, but not a whole lot... sometimes folks sitting nearby will wonder amongst themselves \"is that an instrument?\" \"what kind of instrument?\" etc... sometimes the curiosity is too much for them, and they will straight out ask me in korean... sometimes in good english, sometimes broken english.. on the other hand, once i ate some pibimpap, and it gave me some bad breath... on the train some young ladies sitting next to me were complaining about a smell amongst themselves... of course the smell was me... but eh, I just ignore it.. and yet again on the other hand... the ladies at the kimpap restaurant I go to every day, they always laugh how every time I come and bow when I enter - they think it\'s cute that I\'m so polite to them... they will talk amonsgt themselves \"tomaseu shala shala shala\"... if I didn\'t know any korean I would think they were making fun of me... but it\'s stuff like \"does Thomas eat this (referring to a side dish)?\" because they want to give me things that I like... so when I first came and heard \"miguk shala shala\" and \"waygook shala shala\" I initially thought they were saying bad things... but when I would go places with my korean friends they would tell me what they were saying, and it was harmless - and sometimes flattering.... so I found it was much better to assume the best in people, rather than the worst
1.people who comes into the house without prior notice and opening my closet without permission. 2, Taxi drivers who initiate conversation when all I need is silence. 3. Ajassis whos trying to be cute even when I\'m always with my son.
-Rush Hour in the Subway as everybody is just pushing and using their Elbow. -People talking in the Subway permanently on their mobile
having someone who you thought was your closest friend pop the \"do you like korean girls\" question
What\'s wrong with that, man? Unless he/she\'s referring to your girlfriend indirectly. Or the best friend is also your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Korea is like a party where 2/3 of the people are dudes and a lot of the girls came with their boyfriends.

One person asked me, \"What do you think about Korean girls?\" Another asked me, \"What do you think about marrying people from another country?\" (Indirectly referring to Korean girls.) In both cases, these people proceeded to tell me that I should marry a Korean girl and settle down in Korea. The first question was a Korean male acquaintance. The second was a fellow Korean co-teacher in her 50s.
Korean women are pretty, and the men know it, and they like to brag about it. Once my
im not talking about adjoshi, I mean like college age guys, will ask you that, its a loaded question, cause then, they gonna just think of you are a stereotypical

team it all relates to choice. If you want to do it then do it. You can have all of the social clitter clatter in the world tohold you back and it means nothing. If you wish to date a korean girl just do it.
And anyhow the racial purity that is taught is merely a way of boosting the ego. Can be easily defeated. First and Foremost WOMEN ARE WOMEN and MEN ARE MEN. All of this other clatter we like to put inplace is of secondary importance. WE ALL HAVE THE NEED FOR FOOD, WARMTH, SHELTER, SEX, LOVE, CLOTHES ....no matter what culture we are.
just another thing to add to the spice of the thread. I have found that once you be really nice to a Korean girl, or indeed any lady for that matter, they will open up so much. HELL I HAVE ONE K-GIRL BUDDY THAT PRACTICALLY JUMPS ALL OVER ME nowadays when I meet her. And the one at work that thought I was leaving and basically threw her details at me for a little ....err......\" weekend get together \" so to speak. Team, it can be done .... you just gotta see people as human first and category second.
yeah well the racial purity thing tends to piss me the fuck off, considering that im racially \"impure\"
You done know that purity thing is a fantasy, cousin.
