Hi-

If anyone is intersted in a 6-12 months teaching post in S. Korea, we're looking for 2 teachers to start in May (Bundang, an affluent suburb of Seoul).  BA required.

I'm working for an excellent program (hands-on experiential learning camp style) focused on international & global issues (i.e. world festivals & heritage), environmental matters (i.e. earth day) & human rights (i.e. UN code of conduct, diversity, child rights).  http://www.snet.or.kr/  & www.cybersnet.or.kr (provided for free aimed at kids who can't afford camp)

There is a curriculum & complete lesson plans. Classrooms are small (12-15) & the pay is very good, taking teaching experience, educational credentials & expertise into consideration (~1.9-2.4 mil/mos) plus benefits.

The facilities are excellent & furnished housing is provided on site (pair share). Airfare is also provided (1 way for 6 mos, RT for 1 yr), as well as meals (M-F), & everyone gets a laptop with internet in the rooms. :)  There's also the usual 50% med & 1mos. severance (for 1 yr. contract).

It's a good bunch of staff (~28) from various countries & backgrounds (ethnicity & experties). We all live on premises as a community & have available to us many optional after hours activities put on by our various super staff, i.e. Cardio-kick, Wine & cheese party, strength training & weight lifting, anime night, dance class, cooking club, movie nights, yoga, korean lessons, orphan tutoring, ...

If anyone is interested, please send your resume & pix to our coordinator.

Cheers

PS- Here diversity is truly valued & celebrated, we've people from a wide range of backgrounds working here (i.e. west indies, africa, colombia, iran, korea, puerto rico, india, bolivia, Tesol,  film, drama, music, dance, literature, ...). Bilinguals, bi-racials & bi-culturals are very welcome. :)

PS2- applicants should be  community-oriented, socially conscious, open-minded, flexible, solution-oriented & proactive; you'll fit in better.  :)
